sha la la la la

Since I'm tired of my other entry popping up every time I log onto blogger, I thought I'd post more observations.

Ahem.

1. Uncharacteristically of me, I have put hardly any Christmas decorations up yet. I started to, but then stopped.

2. Doing Stats homework all during Thanksgiving break was so much fun!!! I wish I could do 5+ hours of homework everyday during Christmas break!!!

3. My attempts at sarcasm are becoming futile.

4. Ooo...I have a new niece! I saw her for the second time today...big Sister Savannah is already a protective mother bird.

5. I have a pile of unmaid gifts that need to be made. I could realistically set the goal for them to be ready by Christmas 2010, but...what fun is that? Ahh..procrastination, you are my friend and foe.

Everyone has been posting things about how grateful they are. I think this is a great idea...but unfortunatly I never feel very grateful in November. It is such a hard month for me...I just get so emotional because of events that have happened. This November has been really hard because I've actually been dealing with some things rather than just pushing them away like I normally do.

I'm going to make myself do it though. So here it goes!

  • Adam, always Adam.
  • My family, both sides
  • My niece and nephews
  • The opportunity to work, even if it drives me crazy most days!
  • My taste in music. It's pretty much awesome.
  • Having somewhere to live in a safe neighborhood
  • Jennie P!
  • The opportunity to do pretty much whatever I want in life.

If I don't get to blogging sooner, I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Ugh.

As I sit here, struggling through this last month of school for the semester... I've been noticing that

1. I've checked out mentally, and I fear for myself because of it( grades...not life here).

2. I'm afraid to find a job, I'm not a big fan of change.

3. I'm afraid I won't be able to find a job

4. I start worrying about all those things in life I can't control

I really need a vacation and for this semester to be done.

In other news, it's November now...and this is a month I'm really not a big fan of historically. Wish me luck.

Halloween time

So I didn't get a lot of wonderful pictures from Halloween, but anyway.

The giant tutu and I, Jesse the Cop( in case you can't tell, he's wearing his Uniform too :)...and my mom the 50's girl.
This Tutu was large and in charge. I went a little overboard.

Foofa and I

My Adam and Foofa.

This weeks' observations.

Ahem...

1. Beef jerky and diet Orange soda does not a lunch make.

2. If and when I pass this statistics class, I am going to burn the book. Or sell it back. Honestly though, you get like $2.00 back. So...burn it is!

3.I haven't finished my pumpkin harvest princess tutu yet. I've only got two days!!!

4. If and when I pass this Estate planning course, I am going to burn the book. It will make a much nicer flame due to its massive girth and unnecessary content.

Haunted Train Ride

A couple of years ago, we ( minus my mom and Savannah) went on the Haunted Train Ride. It was pretty fun, so we decided to go this year, with Savannah and my mom. I wouldn't recommend if your child doesn't do well with scary things, and I'd probably sit inside so you can hear the stories. It was fun though. I wish people still traveled all the time by old fashioned trains, I love them!

I had to bust out my winter coat for this trip!
Cute Girls!

Savannah and her daddy.

Savannah hid when it got too scary

Aww...precious moments.

So I think I've done more Halloween stuff this year than I have in a long time. Expensive, yes. Enjoyable, yes.
