3 months and 4 days

That's how long Adam's been unemployed, but luckily...we have a job! Woo!

It's a temp-to-hire situation, but I'm really hoping that he likes it, they like him, and all will go well.

Lets just say, have faith in the power of prayer! :)

Everybody wants to rule the world...

Hrm, haven't had too much to blog about lately. So, here's Adam and George. :)

Hey! Ho! Lets Go!

All right. We've safely returned, and here are our pictures. They really are in a terrible order ( and I almost just wrote odor) but here you go!

First of all...for anyone who's wondering, here's my new husband Adam the shorthair. I love, love, love his hair.

Now to the actual trip.
Here's Kaylie, Ryan, me, and Adam at a lighthouse. A guy offered to take our picture. We thought he was going to take off with the camera. Maybe he sensed that it's not all the way paid for yet, so he returned it. :D

Adam and I at Newport Beach.

Ryan, Kaylie, Jen and Stef at Deepwood, a really pretty garden and historic monument. I would live there.

Adam, wondering why I was taking so many pictures. At least I assume.

Ok, so I look like a piece of crud after the long car ride, but this is my first meeting with my nephew Edgar. I have to say, I quite like him. :)

This was after the blessing, at the brunch. This is Grandma Marsha, Grandpa Gary, Jen, Edgar, and Vickie aka new grandma.
G.Pa Gary, Lester aka new Grandpa, G.Pa Dwayne, and Alex, Edgar's daddy.

Grandpa Dwayne

Grandma Vickie and a very intense baby.

Edgie and me before the blessing.

Edgars Aunts and Uncles on the Case side. No, Adam didn't grow 2 feet overnight.
Adam asleep at the wheel...
Just kiddin.

This is me, somewhere that we stopped. Yep.

Adam and Grandma Betty, wearing a grocery sack. You may think this is the newest fashion, but no. It's just an ingenious way to protect your hair in a thunderstorm. Yes, adam looks a little stir crazy after all of that driving, but lets just say it was a long car ride in a tiny car, with 3 out of 4 people over 5 foot 10.
Other points of interest:
1.I am a complete moron for registering for classes when I knew I was going somewhere this summer. Lets just say homework on a vacation stinks more than you can imagine.
2.Sea Lions yet again confimed their place as my second favorite animal.
3.Edgar is super, super cute.
4.And...my first Case family trip proved to be awesome. It was super fun getting to know everybody that much more. Although I've known everybody for such a long time, it's just interesting the things you can learn when you're traveling in a caravan for hours. :)
Ok, that's all for now, maybe when I can retouch some that I did I will post more. For now, I'm going to go sleep off some more jet lag, or maybe eat some of that Tillamook cheese that we now have an abundance of....

I want to go home I want to go home I want to go home I want...

I'm waiting for one kid to go home...ONE. Thought I would do this to pass the time.

1. When is your "engagement" anniversary: Valentines Day, 2005.

2. When is your "marriage" anniversary: May 12th, 2007. Yeah, some stuff happened and we didn't get married as quickly as anyone would have liked. :: shrugs::

3. How long have you known your spouse: 7.5 years

4. How long did you date/court before you were engaged: uh...3 years.

5. Where did you meet your spouse for the first time: At work. I really really hate to say where this is, lol.

6. What is your spouse's full name: Adam Tyler Case

7. Do you have any children yet: Nope.

8. How many: Well, if you count George the dog then one....

9. Do you have any house pets: Shoot, well we also have some cats.

10. Do you own a house or rent: The year is 2009 and we're laid off. So what do you think the answer to this question may be?

11. Do you live in the country or town/city: Technically a city I guess.

12. What is one (or more) of your favorite activities together: Go to movies...go for drives...I dunno? We just hang out!

13. Do you have a favorite vacation spot: So far, San Diego.

14. How many siblings (including in-laws): He has 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 bro in laws and one sis in law. I have one brother and one sister in law.

17. What town is your current address: Springville

18. Do you work or stay at home: I work, and in reality I'm probably going to work for a long time. I'm not paying thousands and thousands of dollars to go to college for nothing!

19. Where did you honeymoon:San Diego.

20: Leave a piece of marriage advice: I always have a hard time with this because I think Adam and I are in a unique situation, and I can probably count on one hand the amount of fights we've had in close to eight years. We're just best friends, we're alike in a lot of ways but I think our differences complement each other. Plus I'm terrible at giving advice like this! Haha, oh well...

Gas milage...

Adam and I went exploring yesterday.

It was memorial day, and we had to get out of the house. So he decided to show me where he's been going fishing a lot, Lincoln Beach ( A part of Utah Lake, I'm assuming). It was super crowded, but it looks like a nice spot.  We decided to take this road going north that we had never been on that was right next to it. It eventually lead us to Genola, but it was fun not knowing where we really were.

I have decided that's where I want to live. In a small little town, and I can have cows. Or sheep. Or maybe Emus. :)

Next time we go I will have to bring my camera, it was so, so pretty.

We found Payson, where we needed a pit stop. It was still early so we decided not to go home right away. About 3 hours later we found ourselves in St. George. We went to In-and-out and then turned right around and came back. I wish we could have just stayed the night but I decided I couldn't be that wreckless and irresponsable. It was hard enough to randomly get me to go to St. George....trips need to be planned! :)

Adam and I need to take more vacations, even if they are just mini ones.  :D

Raspberries.

When your day has been filled with toddlers and threes...SCREECHING at each other for nothing more than the fact that they've probably had it with each other and need a break, it truly makes you happy for the prospect of a three day weekend. It also makes you think about random things...

I bought some raspberries today to eat ( because that's what normal people do with berries). I remembered that I would always be checking any raspberry for bug inhabitants when I was a child. ( Wouldn't you want to live in a raspberry?) I am not so sure I want to eat these raspberries, because I don't know if I have the energy to look for bugs in them. I am surely not going to eat a bug knowingly.

So here they sit, $2.99 later for like 15 raspberries.

Sigh.

You can tell you're tired when...

You are crocheting then you dose off with your hands still in perfect form three hours later.

My financial aid got approved for the summer. This should be a good thing, but quite frankly I was hoping for a unapproved email to come. Ah well, it would have set me back quite a bit for graduation.

A girl can dream of a carefree summer though, can't she?
